Digital learning scenarios for workplace-integrated action support

The complexity of production facilities in industry 4.0 and operational procedures is steadily increasing. This requires employees to show a comprehensive range of skills and capabilities, as well the abilities to pick these up quickly in the workplace. The BMBF DigiLernPro project is supporting this requirement by developing a software tool which uses various digital media to semi-automatically generate learning scenarios which enable new forms of learning in the workplace.

The Educational Technology Lab is responsible for designing, developing and technically implementing digital media and tools within the BMBF joint project DigiLernPro. The project is focusing on an intelligent and adaptive creation tool which also enables didactically inexperienced employees to quickly produce didactically sophisticated process descriptions. DigiLernPro is also tackling training, including by promoting the development of trainees’ self-learning skills.
