The first European partner workshop of the new project “ICDI4 – Intelligent Competence Development for Industry 4.0” of the DFKI EdTec Lab took place on January 28-30, 2019 at DFKI in Berlin. The project is supported in the BMBF funding programme “International Cooperation in Education and Research – The Central, Eastern and South Eastern European Region” with the following purpose: cooperation in education and research with the particular part of Europe, preparation of proposals and applications for funding under the thematic priorities of the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020 and other research-relevant EU programmes, as well as participation by companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SME), in the research and development consortia.
Altogether, 13 persons from 6 countries (Slovakia, Hungary, Greece, Austria, Spain, Germany) took part at this event. Its main aim was to get to know all the participating partners, their competences, interests and priorities. Moreover, various ideas about possible aims and scenarios for the future cooperation were generated and several potentially interesting calls were pointed out. These concepts will be further elaborated and discussed in regular online meetings. Researcher of the DFKI EdTec Lab in this project are: Dr. Milos Kravcik and Dr. Xia Wang.
