Work 4.0, qualification 4.0 and artificial intelligence are strategically important topics for positioning companies and developing business areas across the world. But what exactly does this mean? What are the various concepts, what is new and which approaches have proven their worth? And what experience has already been gained? As a partner of Deutschland Safari 4.0 (Germany Safari 4.0), the researchers at the DFKI’s Educational Technology Lab are providing information about their experiences in research, development, and transfer to industry and the economy, as well as offering insights into current innovation projects.
The internet of things, industry 4.0 and new methods of artificial intelligence are already changing both work activities and the skills required of employees, as well as the opportunities and methods of qualification and training in the workplace. Digital and social skills are becoming increasingly important, as is the need for iterative adoption and consolidation of updated expertise using agile methods. The opportunities of digital education and qualification are of particular importance.
Bitkom and Heise are demonstrating the dynamics of digitisation in Germany through Deutschland Safari 4.0. Working together with selected partners, this offers a look behind the scenes and provides advice in subsequently developing business models or optimising a company’s digital strategy. Deutschland Safari 4.0 is aimed at entrepreneurs and executives from groups, medium-sized companies and start-ups, original thinkers, trendsetters, drivers of innovation, opinion leaders and decision-makers.
